Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan metode Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variabel (SPLTV). Penelitian dilakukan di SMA IT Satu Muharram Garut tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X, dan subjek penelitian berjumlah 23 siswa dari satu kelas yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi aktivitas siswa, hasil kerja kelompok menggunakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD), dan evaluasi individu. Pembelajaran dilakukan dengan bantuan media PowerPoint dan video edukatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 80% siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal individu dengan benar, yang mengindikasikan adanya peningkatan pemahaman konsep SPLTV. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan kerja sama yang baik. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode PBL dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran SPLTV.
